The 'Newcastle-Gateshead Declaration' is the world's first global statement of LGBTQ+ solidarity. Come along and sign the Declaration whether you are an individual, represent a small community group, local government, a large corporation, a volunteer-led organisation, or even a nation state.

Join us at our reception and celebrate a toast to the signing of the Newcastle-Gateshead Declaration. During the evening, we will have a range of very special keynote speakers and more, which we will announce in due course.
You need to order tickets to attend. We are not charging a set entry fee for a ticket but would warmly welcome any voluntary donations however small to help cover our costs. You can only apply for one ticket per person for security.
The venue: built in 1766 in the heart of the city centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, the historic Assembly Rooms is the ideal venue for the signing of a Declaration of this magnitude. Having hosted plays personally directed by Charles Dickens, hosted dinner with Queen Victoria, and was the venue of the first same-sex marriage in the United Kingdom, it has quite the pedigree.

Signing of the Newcastle-Gateshead Declaration for LGBTQ+equality. The ticket is free but voluntary donations are gratefully received. We obviously value any donations but if you cannot donate anything on this occasion, no problem. Please put a zero in the amount field. Only one ticket per person.
